Low E Window Film now available
At last you can achieve 6 Star energy standards with the new Summer Winter 15 Low E film.
Low e film (e stands for emissivity) is a specialised type of film that reduces the loss of infrared radiation (heat energy) from inside a building to outside, through the windows.
Film Pacific’s new product, Summer Winter 15 Low E, is a film specifically designed to achieve a low emissivity rating as well as a lower U value. And it has an excellent SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient).
All these factors are becoming increasingly important as higher energy efficiency standards are sought by home-owners and building managers, not to forget the legislation which is mandating energy efficiency for new and renovated buildings.
Low e film is ideal for buildings in cooler climates such as those experienced in Tasmania, South Australia, Victoria, lower parts of Western Australia and the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales.
